“Paul, Apostle of Christ,” tells the story of the most infamous persecutor of Christians to Christ’s most influential apostle: Luke, Paul’s friend and a physician, risks his life when he ventures into the city of Rome to visit Paul, who is held captive in Nero’s darkest, bleakest prison cell. Nero is determined to rid Rome of Christians, and does not flinch from executing them in the grisliest ways possible. Before Paul’s death sentence can be enacted, Luke resolves to write another book, one that details the beginnings of “The Way” and the birth of what will come to be known as the church. Stars Jim Caviezel (who starred as Jesus of Nazareth in The Passion of the Christ), James Faulkner, and Olivier Martinez. Come for worship at 5pm, dinner at 6pm, and the movie at 7pm. RSVP sign-ups required for dinner ($5); free-will offering for movie
