Fresh Food - Friday, September 28th, 9:30 - 11 AM Food Box - Tuesday, October 9th, 2 - 4 PM

Lutheran Church of the Cross is the distribution site for two food programs that serve area seniors.

THE FIRST PROGRAM ONCE A MONTH (sponsored by the Community Action Partnership of Orange County) is a non-perishable food box.  Qualifying seniors (age 60 years and older) whose monthly income is $1,316 or less are eligible.  Our next distribution of non-perishable food is Tuesday, October 9, 2-4pm.  Future distributions are on the second Tuesday of the month. Individuals need to apply to be part of this program and can do so at the coming month's distribution date.

THE SECOND PROGRAM TWICE A MONTH (sponsored by the Second Harvest Food Bank) is fresh, perishable food to help area seniors, regardless of income.

Our next distribution of fresh food is on Friday, September 28, from 9:30 am - 11:00 am. There is NO income qualification for this program. Just be 60+ and show up.

NOTE: Volunteers are needed each month to assist with these programs. We give thanks to the Lord for providing free food to seniors in need through these two food agencies!
